following on from the intro thread i'll try and remember to record progress so far...
Red one should have been easy
battery
horn
chain and sprockets
new battery.....check
horn....now works...check
chain and sprockets...check, well after what seemed like stripping half the bike down!!!
so give a quick check over, no front headlamp/sidelight
seems it needs bulbs in for them to work
just need to get some then.
wiring now needs checking...neutral light stays on with key out of ignition
White one.....
seems like 2 steps forward 3 back at the moment
more goodies ordered 2 weeks ago, rear disc brake, shocks, CNC bar mount, alloy wheels ( not £££ ones! ) and a few other bits
disc kit is 'supposedly' straight swap, swingarm is a touch wider so shocks don't quite sit right and need to decipher this lot for cylinder mount..

found a few pics on the 'net but looks like i'm fabbing a plate myself.
rear axle needs spacers sorting so i've gone back to standard swingarm for easier fitting and as it was also +5cm longer the wheel sat too far back with mudguard so meant new guard/light etc
Top yoke again like the rear was causing a few small niggles, wouldn't sit right on bearing cap due to catching the steering lock tab so out with the Grinder, sorted!!
CNC mount filed out to suit bar slots, may need a touch more off but OK for now

seat/ lamp shell put loosely on so i can at least visualise the end product

seat is worse than i thought so may just replace with replica and sort out later, not much left of the Lady now to worry about originality!!
there may be too much White i think so rear lamp bracket will possibly go Black along with a few other small bits but will decide after i sort out some graphics for the frame
