Honda st70 registration

Bought a st70 L registration ruby-red i have the full reg plate and engine number i bought it from a friend he has misplaced the log book which was reg at his old address 20 years ago the vin number on the left hand side was badly worn and can only make out st70 any help in getting vin number or log book from dvla any advice thanks guys

Try entering the reg number on the below DVLA web page.
If it is recognised then all you need to do is apply for a new V5C Reg document...........

Thanks for getting back to me ventura dvla say before 1981 has dropped off there system but have the registration details but in order to issue the reg documents i need to supply reg and vin number

You might consider using this technique that law enforcement uses to "raise" serial numbers.
