Hello Peeps, It's me
I've been quietly amasing parts since the theft of my last bike, so that I can create the best custom "Dax" ever. (But not with Takegawa money!)
Now, if your a purist please dont read this entry, as it could offend.............. you have been warned
As you know my all-singing-all-dancing bike was stolen this year, and I went into mourning. I have now picked myself up and decided to create another custom bike based on the Skyteam 5.5L frame. This not only gives me a bigger fuel tank, it also allows me to fettle, without ruining a perfectly good original frame.
I've already started on the frame, buy welding in an infill piece to the rear wheel arch. This serves two purposes, one to strengthen the whole frame and to tidy the back end up. I'm going for a sleek look this time
I've ground down all the poor welding on the frame, so that it now looks smooter.(the original factory welding looks crap) With a bit of filling and sanding, its off to my trusty powdercoaters to be sprayed in brilliant white..........again, I think this colour makes the bike look bigger, and lets face it, it needs all the help it can get.
I'll keep you all updated as I go alone
All the best Si
