Hi guys!

So I managed to get my ST70 running and am no looking at customising it over the winter months and was wondering where you guys get your custom parts from, I'm looking for good quality parts that will last and not cheap rubbish that will rust quickly. Baring in mind where I live you are not further than 3 miles from the sea.

Shorrocks that looks b-e-a-utiful!

My issue is I don't really know what I want to do to it! The only thing I have decided is the colour I want to re-spray it! Obviously I'd like to customised it cosmetically, but not sure how, this is why I wanted to see places people use to try and get some inspiration. Id also like to try and get a bit more speed out of it but thats a long way off. Money isnt a great issue (as long as the Mrs doesnt find out ;) ) , however I dont want to waste it on cheap unrealiable parts.

This is my first project like this so I am a little in-experienced and unsure.

Squid,

Can't help you with colour (it's a personal thing) but if you want more power there are engines out there, off the shelf from 88cc right up to 201cc :o
Depends on budget, these can range from £150 to £1000 Chinese, or £1000 to £6000+ for a full on Japanese motor

The engine in the top photo is the Daytona 4v 190cc lump and was a beast. (Until my bike was stolen!)

This bike is my orange number and has a YX 160cc lump, still Chinese but a good all-rounder.
RHS%20Showing%20new%20disk%20brake[1].JPG Try looking at OORACING, MINIBIKE CRAZE, AND MOTOSYCO, to name but a few. It will give you some idea of budget cost custom parts.

Shorrocks,

I have decided on the colour, looking at a metallic lime green frame and chrome fenders, handle bars etc.

Another beauty! I hope you got the white one back after being stolen?!

See I wouldn't know where to start when buying and replacing the engines, gearboxes etc!

I will have a look at those pages!

Much appriciated!
