Which ST70 do I have?

Hey guys!

Got a ST70 which I have had since I was 12 (I am now 30) and have finally decided to get it running again and give it the TLC is deserves.

I am trying to completely revamp it but am struggling to find out which model/version I have. I have no paperwork.

There is a number stamped on the left side of the chassis just above the crankcase which is ST70-149026

May also have manged to identify that it could be a dax. Was looking for a new battery and the one I found similar to the original is for the Dax version.

Can anybody please point me in the right direction?

Forgive me if I am being stupid but I cannot seem to find the year from the site you gave.

I have managed to find out the original UK reg which was a P reg so that dates it to 1975 but dont know how the the person had it for.

I have spoken to Honda UK and gave them the frame number and the answer they gave me was that it was an import and to get anymore info I would have to pay £35 to have them do the work for me.

UPDATE

I have chatting to somebody at David Silver Spares and he has dated the bike to a ST70K0 1970-72 model, but still a bit unclear as to where it came from, this is the info I got from David Silver Spares:

"According to my parts list, the frame number range for the UK model is 137314~152908, so yours falls in to that range.
Unfortunately, There is some overlap with the Germany type 2 models. These were given the range 140864~153068, so yours also falls in to that range too."

hi just got a st70 frame number is st70137425 anyone any idea how old this is please
