Hi Guys
Apologies for not posting for a while but I have been working away for the last month or so but I do check the site a couple of times a week,
great idea about a meet next year I am up for that God willing.
A s you are all aware my bike rebuild has been an on going saga of disappointment followed by more but this afternoon came the phone call to say that my Lady has passed her MOT and runs brilliantly but a little rich so I have invested in a new carb and intend to keep the old one safe.
I will be picking her up on friday just in time for a classic car and motor bike show in Kent so the smile on my face is equivalent to a dog with 2 c---s in a street full of lamp posts I will post some piccy's as soon as I can.
I will now start on another customized ST70 if I can get enough parts together maybe this one will be easier hahaha
PS I could not have got this far with out the help of you guys on this website
Regards Tufty

Tufty, good job!
The harder the project, the bigger the more statisfied you'll be in the end.
After two years on my lady, and finally getting ready to finish her, I know how you feel.

The original carb that is too rich is just a matter of settings.
It should work smooth with the standard pieces, the right amount of fuel and air.
Anyways, enjoy the ride!
