Low Exhaust

Hi,
I have a low exhaust for my st70 but it looks like it needs a different kick-start than a standard straight one,
I have seen a bike with one with a bend is, does a standard one fit and still start it.

If I remember correctly the straight ones hit the exhaust, so only the bent version ill work.
However, I'm not entirely sure.
