Finally............she's done!!!
Hello Peeps,
Thought I'd better put SOMETHING on this site before we get closed down for lack of participation.
Anyway you'll all be pleased to know that my "Fat Dax" is now up and running and awaiting an MOT. I've just been tinkering to tell the truth, you know all those little bits that normally get left, and never finished ;)

Here's a few pictures to be getting on with.

Thank goodness
Another phoenix rises from the ashes of Shorrocks riding.
Please don't break it again.
I have fitted the YX into the purple one and have hit a problem the rear brake pedal hits the clutch casing leaving the rear disk brake locked on so it looks like I will have to remodel the pedal.
The good news is that the chromers have despatched my Chaly parts.
Regards Tufty

No I'll try not to break this one again ;) ;)

If I remember, the rear brake pedal needs to either be modified if you want to keep stock, or just buy a new one from Adrian for the YX engine, that's the route I went down :D

Were's these bloody photo's you keep on saying your going to send????

Did you have any luck finding that gromet for the seat?

Thanks mate,
it was a long time coming, but I finally got there ;)

No I haven't managed to find a grommet yet, but I have used a 20mm open grommet that they use in electrical back boxes, this seems to fit perfectly

Thanks Waynus,
after all my electrical problems, I'm now back to loving my bikes. The best bit about them as you know is the building. ;)
But i'm going to enjoy this first. I'll also show you how to make your own DB killer the next time I write.

Thanks for that Dezzie, I'll look to see if I can order one.

All the best Si
