We live not far from Bordeaux, Médoc ( france)

I'm repairing the ST.... I hope to find some answers and advise here on the forum.... Yes yes the tires were chinese but I've mounted Michelins S1 yesterday.

Re: The French ST70 White
Thank you Waynus, this was the bike when I adopted her.... a few months ago... You know the "barnfind" kind off bike ....
Some good old polish (Simonis) and a bit off gray motip paint ..... the funny thing about my little honda is that she started with no problems.... I did change the feultank yes a bigger one now.... 3,4L.... the old one was like a little bit to rusty inside... so the little carburator didn't like it at all.... I do need to find a new "old" swingarm for the bike.... I realy would like to find one in the same colour... I realy don't want to respray..... The bike is great like she is now, so the swingarm should be the same....
"Dans son jus" like the French say...
;)

Re: The French ST70 White
I bought a skidplate on ebay for my little White..... it does need a bit of good old cleaning cloth....

I did still have an modern chromium exhaust, so I dicided to paint the inner side black like on the late CT-70 bikes... It looks rather more off road... the old ST-70 6v exhaust doesn't.

A little drive to the beach.... ;)

A chromium CT spark plug guard and CT seat are on its way from the states.....

I prefer the original, that said however. The later style is the exhaust i intend fitting to mine,is there any difference in performance between them ? And more importantly , what is the exhaust sound like on the later pipe ?

Its a lovely bike, shall we swap

Re: The French ST70 White (oups CT-70)
The later style sounds a little bit less hard..... the speed seems to be the same 70km/h...

Ok I'll keep the "ladder" 6V exhaust one on the bike.....
