Year of my st70?

Hi everyone, I've just got a little ST70 and was wanting some help finding out what year it is. I've been looking at photos on net and mine seems to have a different kind of muffler than them. Mine is closer to the road, under the pegs sort of thing. Does anyone know how to get the exact date of manufacture?? Thanks.

Sounds by your description that this is an early one 69-72 model and is the Honda logo metal or vinyl

Hey Tufty, thanks for the reply. The logo's are metal. I'm trying to upload some pic's but having a bit of trouble. The Bike is gold in colour, with silver mudguards. I was reading up a bit last night and a webpage I was on described my bike saying the same thing as yourself. Between 1969 and 1972 a series one. These bike look like a hole bunch of fun. In the past I had a 1967 honda c90, and I have a cb750 k3 but I like this because I can take it with me camping in the boot of the car. Hey thanks again Tufty!
