I'm probably going to make a lot of enemies here (sorry  ) but I'm in the hate camp of the German style mudguards.
I would have to go for the sporty/trendy Belgian French style as I owned one as a lad, hence the reason for taking so long to acquire my little money pit.

O/K
WISERIC you don't take your bike out in the wet (wind up time )which is why you like the girlie style where as real men/bikers prefer the real thing my vote is for the german helmet style

i think thats 3-1 to the german helmet at the present, spose they are a bit more prone to damage, my back one as damage where it as been bent under at the back, still think they look great though

Damm! I'm on the losing side at the moment    :oops
Remember the following:
German = Pratical but oh so boring :D
Belgain/French = Flamboyant and sporty

Wet! My bike sees loads of wet...... it just wont go out it in. I've tried to persuade it but it's very stubborn and won't budge. :D
When I have the funds the next project is going to be RAT DAX which will more that happy to go into the wet and face the british weather.

Hi folks
To answer the Poll has to be German cos that is what mine has.

I have just started the rebuild of mine and although its a lady Dax so should have silver ones I just don't like the look. The wife says I should spray them Black.
Then I got to thinking about Carbon Dipping then wrapping.

I am going to spray them black but before fitting I am going to make a mould. Then Its going to Have Carbon Fibre mudguards but I will do it after I have got it running
