Mirrors

Hi all,
Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but I'm learning everything as I go.
I reckon I'm ready to put the Chaly in for MOT as it's running we'll, brakes and lights are all good, new tyres etc.
However, I only have one mirror (on the right). Do I need to get the other before the MOT?
I'm asking because I've tried googling it & I keep finding conflicting answers.
Again, I apologise if this is a dumb question, but I don't want it to fail on something silly.

Hi there,
No you wont need to fit one on the left,they are not mandatory,but any that are fitted must be in a satisfactory and operational condition.
If you want total confidence in this,telephone the test station you are planning to use and ask them.

Thank you for that. It's put my mind at rest.
The one that is there is in great condition, so shouldn't be a problem.
One more thing ticked off of the list.
Now to get that MOT booked!

Last time I took the Jota in for MOT it wasn't necessary to have even one.

Thats right Litch,as I said, 'they' are not mandatory
