HONDA ST50 VIN NUMBER
Hi, i have a Honda ST50 but the number plate is missing. I am trying to get the registration number for the bike, so that i can obtain a V5C. I have found the VIN/FRAME NUMBER, (just above the engine, on the nearside), but it is not 17 digits long, as required, to find the registration number, could it be elsewhere on the bike? Would it be that the older bikes have a shorter number, if so, where would i be able to get this matter sorted. Many thanks!

Hi BLUE
As you are a compuutr person could the answer to this frequently asked question be put in a FAQ section, but then you would not be a hero to so many people.
, when are you going to get your bike finished or are you loosing time answering these questions

Hi Tufty,

Yes a FAQ section could be used, but that would have to be set up by someone with access.
I might mention it to Wannus and James.

The bikes are getting there, hope to have one done for the summer.
As you know my work space is limited as is my time due to work.
However I just ordered a new shed / workshop which is just for my bikes.
No kids or wife stuff allowed!

The white lady you saw just needs the lights sorting for mot, still not painted it as I'm still having a dilemma with the colour. The blue ST you saw is still in pieces
My Z50a is taking shape, will post a few pictures when the weather clears up.

Cant wait for the new shed to arrive :D

Hopefully we can get a run it this year ;)

Cheers,
Blue
