6volt To 12 volt Conversion
Hi guys
I have been busy at work recently(self employed) so the Lady has not received much attention this month but this morning I took the motor to be measured for a new electrical system which includes CDI to sort out the starting glitches also upgrade the electrics to 12 volt which will sort the problem of poor lighting when the motor is idling (lethal at night at junctions) also the weak indicators I hope that the technician will be in touch next week when he returns from europe he indicated that it was a straight forward job and would not be prohibitibly expensive, I will keep you updated on events but all my 6 volt bulbs which have never seen eletrickery will be up for sale soon.

Hi Tufty,
if you need some help, just ask.
This is something I did a couple of times in the past.

It's not too difficult, but it takes some time, and you've got to use your head.

First you need to decide which way to go:
- new 12v wire loom
- only the conversion set
- make the correct connections yourself

I have the drawings of which colors to connect, where to place the cdi,...
Just ask if these can be of any help to you.
